Many practitioners go on to learn a variety of therapies, often as part of the same training course, and often as additional training – CPD (Continued Professional Development).
Far from becoming 'Jack of all Trades, Master of None', the reverse is true. They become able to assess a client through the consultation process and put together treatments tailored in physical, emotional and energetic formats. - Real 'Holistic' therapies.
A typical mix of therapy training will often include Massage, (often many different varieties), Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Reiki, all, some of, or more. CPD courses may add on new skills and influences, such as Body Rocking, Osteopathic Techniques etc.
A client may be interested in trying a therapy but needing another, so it is very simple to offer 1/2 and 1/2. Alternatively client may present a combination of symptoms or needs which could be worked with in a variety of ways. All treatments are combined with aromatherapy.

- Half and half treatments could involve, structural assessment with back, neck and shoulder massage along with half a reiki or reflexology treatment to try it out.
- Half a lower body massage, straightening out a wonky pelvis, working the legs for sports reasons and trying reiki or reflexology to aid sleep and stress.
- A client presenting stress and headaches and a poor posture: Aromatherapy oils could be used for headaches, structural assessment and alignment through massage techniques could be used to straighten out the shoulders, spine and neck and reduce tension, then some time could be spent on the spine, neck and head reflexes of the feet for further balance.
- A client presenting an injured swollen knee, poor sleep, anxiety and terrible period pains:Aromatherapy oils would be used in different strength dilutions to breathe for anxiety, as topical application for the knee (to reduce swelling and pain), a different application of oils would be used as an anti-spasmodic on the stomach area. Reiki could be utilised to address the anxiety and to speed up the healing process of the knee. Reflexology could be used to attain further balance, physical, emotional and energetically.
