This privacy policy sets out how L.M. Therapies uses and protects any information that you give L.M. Therapies when you use this website and or Clinic Services.

L.M. Therapies is strongly committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. L.M. Therapies may change this policy by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.  We may also email you change notifications.

This privacy policy is not intended to, and does not, create any contractual or other legal rights or obligations on either your or our part.

In order to assist us you may provide us with information from time to time which we may require or use for the purposes of providing you with any required services, information or requested activity including contacting you and providing notification to you in relation to such services or related activity.

We may provide the data collected from you to third party including our agents and contractors in connection with the service.

You may inform us at any time not to pass on or share your personal information with any third parties.

The registration information you provide may be required to use the service or site. 2) Cookies

We may use cookies to store and track information about you. We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users' computers. To date we don’t use advertisers, but if we do, our advertisers/payment services providers may also send you cookies.

We may publish Google Adsense interest-based advertisements on our website. These are tailored by Google to reflect your interests. We are taking and will endeavour to continue taking all reasonable steps in order to protect your personal information and data. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any personal information or data you disclose online, having regard to the nature of the internet. We may use encryption technology from time to time to assist in protecting any information or data which you submit. In any event, you accept the inherent security implications of disclosing information over the internet or by supplying and email address at the clinic or at any of the clinic functions, and agree not to hold us responsible for any breach of security unless we have been negligent or wilfully in default of our obligations under the relevant legislation.

All proprietary or confidential information, including personal data, is contained or stored on computer and any that is contained and stored on manual files by L.M. Therapies is locked up and secure.

We control access to information and personal data, including existing procedures for authorising and authenticating users as well as software controls for restricting access and techniques for protecting data such as encryption.

We maintain a business continuity plan as a contingency plan which identifies our business functions and assets (including personal data) which would need to be maintained in the event of disaster and set out the procedures for protecting and restoring them if necessary.

In respect of detection and investigation of breaches where they occur, we have in place relevant controls which should alert us to a breach in security. We endeavour to investigate every breach of security.

L.M. Therapies cannot guarantee the security of any personal information or data disclosed to it or collected by it.

Information that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate in order to enable us to use the information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Information which you provide may be transferred to countries which do not have data protection laws equivalent to those in force in the European Economic Area.

In addition, personal information that you submit for publication on the website will be published on the internet and may be available, via the internet, around the world. We cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.  This information will only ever be contact information.  Personal clients notes are held by individual therapists at L.M. Therapies   Please contact your individual therapist to find out their policy on how they store confidential client notes.

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure password- and firewall- protected servers.

Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential, (if you have them). We will not ask you for your password except when you log in to the website, if such a system becomes necessary.

At any time, if you are concerned that the information we hold about you is incorrect, please do not hesitate to contact us to correct such information.

Occasionally contacts may be duplicated as an over-site, in which case you may unsubscribe at any time and you may also request at any time to have your details removed by emailing info@LMtherapies.co.uk AND your personal therapist, or you may write to the company address AND your personal therapist.

We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:

Whether you are a therapist and what kind

Contact information including email address

Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests

Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

5) Internal record keeping

Client Notes: are kept by the self employed individual therapists within The Body Mind Soul Clinic or within L.M. Therapies premises and it is the responsibility of each therapist to keep them safely protected and locked up.  Sometimes client coded. 

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you. Provision of such information will be subject to:

The payment of a fee (currently fixed at £20.00 payable to L.M. Therapies; and the supply of appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, we will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).

We may withhold such personal information to the extent permitted by law.

If you would like a copy of the information held on you please email: Director L.M. Therapies (info@LMtherapies.co.uk)  Stating who is your personal therapist.  In the event that you require personal client notes it will be the therapists responsibility to supply copies.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible at the above email address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

6) Undesirable client behaviour:

If any behaviour is threatening, frightening, sexual or in any other way perceived undesirable your information will be disclosed as far as necessary to protect the therapists and all associated with the clinic and the business, and if necessary, the law.

7) Disclosures

We may disclose information about you to any of our employees and associates, officers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes as set out in this privacy policy.

In addition, we may disclose your personal information:

To the extent that we are required to do so by law.
